I lied...

Yet more yarn has made it's way into my soon overflowing stash, due to visits to yarn shops I have never been to before:
1. Withit Witch (Halesowen)-Four balls of Lana Grossa Luxor, a shimmery nylon webby yarn with a merino core.  Soft and luxurious looking (guess that inspired the name).  My excuse for buying it was that is was on sale as it was discontinued.
2. Foxhill (Four Oaks)-Two skeins of Arucania Aysen (my excuse-it was pretty and purply) and four balls of Noro Silk Garden Sock (I was taken by the skirt in Noro Volume 26, knitted in Kureyon Sock.  Unfortunately there was no Kureyon in stock, but Silk Garden was available).  The first panel is currently on my knitting needles.

Kicked to the kerb in favour of the skirt was the Cornrows bag I was in the process of making, using Rowan All Seasons Cotton (again a sale bargain).

Luckily for me I have a new focus for my disposable income.  In October I am going to Paris for five days and looking at the cost of hotels it is going to be an expensive five days! No more yarn buying for the immediate future (except for the Mini Mochi that I intend to buy because someone has requested a scarf).

On a totally unrelated note I have a four word review of songs that I am currently hearing on the radio:

1.Neyo-Beautiful Monster: No beauty, just monstrous
2.Yolanda Be Cool-We No Speak Americano: Fifties sampling cheeky house
3.Anything where David Guetta is the producer: Don't wanna hear it

  1. Bwahahaha!

The song reviews had me holding my sides in agreement!

Paris!? I dare say that shall inspire many a knitting pattern. False economy not stocking up on the yarn right now!

    Chris.
